Last night, Sean and Chris S. both played their opponents in the first round of the HU Championship. Chris won his first match and lost the second one. However, he did win the last one when his opponent moved in on Chris when Chris had "pocket rockets". Game over, nice job Chris. Chris and Trinity will now play each other in round 2.
Sean's match was a long one with the first one lasting over an hour. Sean finally trapped his foe w/ a set of 2's for the win. The second match saw alot of action again, but Sean eventually lost it on a draw. The final and deciding match lasted just a few hands after Sean crippled his opponent on the 3rd hand of play. Sean hit a K with K7 vs. Doug's A4 and took the victory.
Brian and Jeff are the remaining RPL players scheduled to play their 1st round matches.
