Played against a WPT Champ!

I won a $6 satellite into last night's Absolute Poker $50K Gtd tournament ($150+12 buy-in). There was alittle over 300 players in it. I ended up finishing in 50th place +/-. However, after the 2nd break I noticed a new player at my table. It was Mike "The Grinder" Mizrachi, who's a 2-time WPT champ, he wasn't doing to well. He lasted about 45 minutes at the table before busting out. I won two pots he was in, but nothing exciting....it was cool playing with him for alittle while.

Anyone Have Money on Neteller?

If you do this should make you feel alittle better....this would suck. Check it out. I don't think I would have had trusted an online company with that much $$$. Stars would've wrote him a check.

Reed Poker Online Event #4

Six players put up $5.50 for tonight's online event.

It took about 45 minutes before someone was knocked out. ChipsVillian (Greg) and mukraven (Matt) both saw a flop of 634. Greg pushed all-in w/ AJ and Matt calls w/ 76. Turns comes a 3 and river a 6 to give Matt a full house. Greg finishes in 6th place.

About 2-3 hands later J21FLUSH (Justin) pushes all-in preflop w/ 88 and All In Reed (Sean) calls w/ AK. Sean sucks out to get a A-5 straight to bust Justin in 5th place.

Just before the first break, Sean and car_guy_67 (Brian) engage in a "Battle of the Blinds". The flop shows 724. Both pot $200 in to see the turn of a 2. Sean bets $800 and Brian raises all-in. Sean call w/ a gutshot straight draw w/ A5 and Brian shows two pair w/ 47. Sean gets his 3 to fill his straight. Brian busts in 4th place and on the bubble.

An hour and fifteen minutes into the tourney, Harley1998 (Jeff) and Sean are in the blinds and see a flop of AK5. Sean shoves all-in and Jeff insta-calls. Sean has 45 and Jeff has A6 w/ flush draw. Sean tried to make a move at the wrong time and Jeff sent him to the rail in 3rd place for a $6 cash.

Matt and Jeff now battle heads-up for a long time. They finally get all their money in during a hand. The board showing 43596... did not help Matt's Q10, but Jeff had A9 and won the tourney w/ pair of 9's w/ A kicker. Matt's 2nd place finish won him $9 and Jeff's win pocketed him $15.

Congrats Jeff "Airman"!

Event #2 Results

We had 12 players show up for Event #2 which was a rebuy event. Rebuys and add-ons were rampant and swelled the prize pool to our largest yet. It took a couple of hours to get to the final 10 players and the final table. The final table was very interesting and entertaining because there was alot of chips in play and alot of money/points on the line. Top 3 got paid.

It took til well after 12am to get the final 5 players. Jeff and Sean got mixed up in a hand when Jeff raised with A9 suited and Sean re-raised all-in w/ 55. Sean got another 5 on the flop and Jeff finished in 5th place.

Next, Trinity and newcomer Daniel met up on the felt....all-in pre-flop. Trinity shows 10 9 and Daniel shows QJ (I think). Trinity ends up hitting a J on the river to give him a J high straight to make Daniel the "bubble boy".

About 12:35am and we're down to the final 3, Anthony, Sean and Trinity. It doesn't take long to get for Trinity and Sean to get all there chips in middle post flop. The flop showed A46 and Sean check raised only to see Trinity's A4 and Sean's A2 was pretty much dead. Sean finished 3rd to win $110.

Anthony and Trinity decide to do an equal chop and both took home $230. However, the RPL rules state that places will be decided by chip count and Anthony had just over $10k more than Trinity. Anthony won the bracelet and 1st place points. Congrats guys on the nice pocket change!

Reed Poker Online 2/7/07 Results

Well, we had 5 players show up for tonight's online event on Full Tilt Poker.

It seems that OutlawJesco (Trinity) is cursed as he went out in 5th place again this week. He was blessed with a set of 3's again only to lose to car_guy_67 (Brian) A high flush. However, Trinity held on for about 20 more minutes low stacked until he decided to get involved in another hand with Brian. Trinity was all-in pre-flop w/ J10 against Brian's 44 and the 4'2 held up. gg Trinity!

All In Reed (Sean) was in the BB w/ K3 when the flop came K73. Sean tried to set a trap only to run into J21FLUSH (Justin) trap because he was holding 33. gg Sean!

mukraven (Matt) was low stack w/ 3 players remaining and his A9 could not beat Brian's AQ. Matt finishes in 3rd place to win $5. Matt has finally been de-throned online after winning the last 2 weeks.

Heads up play betweeb Brian and Justin started with Brian holding nearly 2:1 chip lead. They played each other well for awhile, then it seemed that Justin may have lost his connection and Brian ended up blinding Justin out for the win. Justin gets $7.50 for his 2nd place finish and Brian wins $12.50 for his win.

Congrats Brian!

Full Tilt Introduces New Deposit Method MyWebATM

Many members of Full Tilt Poker's mailing list were introduced earlier this morning to a new method of deposit/withdrawal. Many in the industry had heard rumors of new deposit options in the wake of the Neteller trouble, and it appears the new options are beginning to surface. Responding to the problem created with the shutdown of Neteller, Full Tilt has decided to endorse MyWebATM as a secure new option for deposits and withdrawals. The site links your online poker account to your personal bank account and simplifies withdrawals by mailing users an ATM card. The MyWebATM card can be used by any ATM which supports CIRRUS, which is accepted at virtually any ATM in the country. read more...
