The Latest Reed Poker Room Additions

Well instead of waiting to find a new place to host the Reed Poker Room Site I have decided just to add the necessary information to the blog. You can now find useful information in the right hand column that relates to the Reed Poker League whether it is related to the online games or the live events.

You can now find the top 5 in Player of the Year (POY) and RPL Online Points, schedule for upcoming live and online events, previous winners and a list of confirmed players for upcoming events.

I am working to make further improvements to the blog. No need to have two sites when we are getting so much traffic on this one. If anyone has any request as to what you would like to see more of on the blog let me know by commenting on here or emailing.

Post-Halloween HORSE in the RPO on FTP

Thursday night we will be playing the much requested HORSE once again. Who will take it down this time or rather the bigger question... will we have more than 3 players? See schedule in right column of the blog as to when on Full Tilt.

Reed Poker Website Currently Down

Due to our host website, which we were attached to like a tapeworm to a human intestine, going down for nonpayment (Sean & I were not involved LOL), I will be moving the Reed Poker site (not to be confused with the Reed Poker Room Blog)to another location and will revive links and such at that time. I know that everyone has been missing it since we get as much traffic as Myspace. Reed Poker Readership = 2 to 3. Anyway...I will let you know of updates as they become available.

Taking Down the Two-fer

Wednesday nights RPO was action packed with only two players this week. Brian and I (Trinity) were like dueling banjos trying to play two tables against each other. Sean was about 5 minutes too late to play. With both tables going I was leading the Hold'em game and Brian leading the Pot Limit Omaha. We had about equal stacks on opposite tables (if that makes sense). After about 35 minutes I was able to finish Brian off in the Hold'em game and we could both then concentrate on the Omaha game. Brian who had a significant lead got unlucky on a couple of hands which allowed me to stay alive and my stack went on a roller coaster ride a couple of times. In the end I was able to gain the lead for the first time and never look back and with the grace of the card gods beat Brian in the Omaha game to dominate the double heads up game for 1st place points and $20. Good Game Brian. See you next week.
